Aldelia, a global recruitment and HR solutions company, approached West Group with a challenging demand: to embark about 100 Chinese professionals who worked on the construction of a ship and needed to follow the procedures on board.
The scenario required an agile and customized solution. The professionals did not have the CBSP (Basic Platform Safety Course) and spoke exclusively Mandarin. The request was clear: to develop and apply the training in record time, in a hybrid format, and fully adapted to the language of the participants.
Our PMO (Project Management Office) took on the challenge with total dedication. In an integrated effort between the pedagogical, technical and technological areas, we were able to structure the training in a reduced time, without giving up quality and compliance with the standards required for the offshore sector.
The theoretical stage was adapted to Mandarin and made available on our online learning platform. Then, students participate in the practical phase in our units, with the support of specialized translators, ensuring full understanding and security during training.
The first class was successfully held at our unit in Rio de Janeiro. The second is underway at the Macaé unit, and we are already preparing to receive new classes in the coming weeks.
